The heavy duty machine body was designed by Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assure optimized mechanical structure. Features include: Meehanite cast honeycomb-type base, highly-ribbed column mounted with oversized UVZ axis, and reinforced lower-arm to increase stiffness. All castings are stabilized and subjected to rigid testing to insure maximum strength, permanent high precision, and long durability.
High precision servo and transmission system uses 1.260 inch dia. C1 class ball screws with sub-zero and super-finish ground process for maximum smoothness and minimum pitch error. The axis are driven by means of closed loop, direct coupled AC servomotors with 8 millionths resolution and controlled by linear glass scale feedback system. The Hiwin linear guideways’ patented structure reduces up to 90% of friction and vibration producing unparalleled accuracy of motion.
The U-V axis mechanism has been placed in the cabinet above the working area. This design assures reliable durable operation in any shop environment. The rigid structure and 20mm C1 Class U-V ball screws provide high precision at the maximum flushing pressures necessary for high-speed cutting.
The precision work piece-mounting table is made of hardened stainless steel, has easy accessibility, and is designed as a standard clamping system. This permits the setting of a wide range of work pieces quickly and accurately. The worktable can also accommodate any commercial clamping system.
The machine is equipped with an annealing, fully automatic wire threading system (AWT) with a scrap wire disposal unit. AccuteX’s unique intelligent servo-control wire-threading technology (patent pending), together with multi-detectors, makes it the world’s fastest and most reliable (threading at wire break point) automatic wire threading system on the market.
