The Accutex GA Series moving table submerged-type CNC Wire EDM machines are designed with a small footprint for manufacturing plant space efficiency. This series is built with cutting edge linear motor shaft drive technology. Like its predecessor, the GE Series, the GA series boasts its ergonomic space saving design, drop door, 3-sided table (back rail optional), patented fully annealing automatic wire threader and submerged machining capabilities of up to 8″ or 195mm.
However, this new series is equipped with the latest and most advanced high-tech EDM CNC control in the market today. Introducing the NEW ueX10 CNC control from Accutex EDM! The ueX10 CNC control is the result of a five-year development project between Accutex EDM in Taiwan, and Absolute Machine Tools. It is designed with a “USER EXPERIENCE” focus for enhancing capability and productivity, and easily integrates with new options/features and continued technological advancements. With a 21.5″ touch screen and Windows 10 operating system, the ueX10 is fully supported and will be easily updated with future Windows Operating Systems. The ueX10 EDM CNC control features cloud-based applications, automation, and network monitoring.
The heavy-duty machine body was designed by Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assure optimized mechanical structure. Features include: Meehanite cast honeycomb-type base, highly-ribbed column mounted with oversized UVZ axis, and reinforced lower-arm to increase stiffness. All castings are stabilized and subjected to rigid testing to insure maximum strength, permanent high precision, and long durability.
The AccuteX Linear Shaft motor is standard equipment on the GA-43AL Wire EDM. Accutex developed and manufactures this cutting edge technology fully in house. The simplified maintenance free design enables AccuteX to offer world class precision and performance at an affordable price. The High speed linear shaft motor provides 10% faster servo response time compared to a conventional ball screw with no backlash or lost motion.The linear shaft motor, HIWIN linear guideways, 0.000008” Fagor glass scales, and 64 bit processing are joined together on the massive 6,160 pound casting putting the GA-43AL in a class of its own.
The U-V axis mechanism has been placed in the cabinet above the working area. This design assures reliable durable operation in any shop environment. The rigid structure and 20mm C1 Class U-V ball screws provide high precision at the maximum flushing pressures necessary for high-speed cutting.
The precision work piece-mounting table is made of hardened stainless steel, has easy accessibility, and is designed as a standard clamping system. This permits the setting of a wide range of work pieces quickly and accurately. The worktable can also accommodate any commercial clamping system.
The machine is equipped with the New Generation fully automatic annealing wire threading system (AWT) with a scrap wire disposal unit. AccuteX’s unique intelligent servo-control wire-threading technology (patent pending), together with multi-detectors, makes it the world’s fastest and most reliable (threading at wire break point) automatic wire threading system on the market.
The new ueX10 Windows 10 based CNC system’s powerful 64-bit CPU is a high speed, stable, industrial-grade computer, featuring a powerful user friendly software interface and 21.5” Touch Screen. This controls’ conversational cutting condition selection, on board operation manuals and help menus, along with a long list of productivity functions and features, makes new users effective and experienced operators capable of performing any application easily and accurately.
