Description

Our U5-1530 series is a 5-axis Vertical Machining Center for high level and performing 5-axis machining

- with integrated swing/tilt-table in machine body
- AND additional fixed table in left side of working area
- for high level 5-face and 5-axis machining applications
- optionally with performance table and counter-weight function as well as big bore >100mm in table center
- moving column and therefore preferred for
- heavy workpieces
- high number of tools
- high spindle speed up to 20.000 rpm
- Most modern high-level controls and drives
- available with multiple automation applications

usually sold for highly universal applications where customers machine 3-axis workpieces on the fixed table, 5-axis parts on the rotary-tilt table and long workpieces over both working areas as well, just in case needed for extra long workpieces. By taking off the top plate of the fixed table it is possible to support sharft-type workpieces of up to 400mm diameter with a tailstock and make 4-axis machining of long parts. So a very universal concept unique in the market and developed by SPINNER.
